Regional Study Coordinator

About the role

Labcorp is seeking a Regional Study Coordinator to join its team in Singapore. The role manages clinical projects for the Asia region, covering kit shipment, sample testing and sample management, and acts as the regional liaison between Labcorp Central Lab Services (CLS) Global Study Manager and the CLS departments involved in each clinical protocol.

Key responsibilities

• Manage clinical projects to ensure successful delivery of lab services, including kit shipment, sample testing and sample management for a clinical study in the Asia region.
• Collaborate closely with the Global Study Manager on all study aspects from set-up to closure, and review the Statement of Work to check regional feasibility and recommend changes to the Study Design Lead.
• Handle day-to-day regional study activities, resolve logistics, lab test results, monitoring and supply issues, and keep the Global Study Manager informed.
• Implement monitoring and set up local performance metrics, taking corrective action when needed.
• Liaise with the Global Study Manager on tasks assigned under the Global Monitoring Plan.
• Work in a matrix environment, participate in functional meetings and learning forums, and support a culture of continuous improvement and quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Pharmaceuticals.
• 3 months or more of experience using computer and office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Access, Outlook).
• Preferred: professional or internship experience in clinical research or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in Chinese is preferred, as liaison with China counterparts is expected.
• Strong interpersonal, influence and negotiation skills, planning and prioritisation, communication and organisational skills, attention to detail, teamwork and proven ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
