Registration Services Officer

About the role

State Street is hiring a Registration Services Officer in Singapore. The role covers trade package preparation, review and sign-off, fund of funds trade document management, transaction posting and investment ID tagging, and supporting client onboarding and change activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and sign off trade packages to precise standards, and resolve trade package queries, audits and ad hoc financial reports
• Build client relationships around fund of funds trade document management, manage client inquiries and escalations, and support onboarding, conversions and client change activities
• Assist in client meetings and presentations, and monitor, process and review transaction posting and investment ID tagging
• Take ownership of the transaction posting process and liaise with the internal team
• Coordinate with and train the overseas support team where necessary, and track outstanding queries so they are resolved in a timely way
• Ensure activities follow internal standards and policies, and support continuous improvement forums
• Identify and report risk, compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activity, and act in line with Risk Excellence

Required profile

• Prior fund administration and/or fund KYC/AML experience
• Knowledge of alternative investment products, including hedge funds, private equity and hybrids
• Experience of the fund of funds trading process, pricing, corporate actions, commitments and cash flow
• 3+ years of product knowledge; strong knowledge of fund of funds trading documents (subscription, redemption, transfer, proxy, corporate action) is a plus
• Comprehensive procedural, technical and product knowledge of fund administration and fund of funds operations
