Relationship Director, Global Corporates Coverage, Southeast Asia (VP)

About the role

Barclays is looking for a Vice President Relationship Director for its Global Corporates Coverage team covering Southeast Asia. The role originates, manages and expands relationships with Temasek-linked and government-linked companies, SGX-listed corporates and large private enterprises, working with product partners and regional teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client relationships, analyse portfolios and cash flows, and assess financial, legal and operational risks
• Research industry trends, regulations and competition, and design customised solutions from the bank's portfolio
• Negotiate terms, advise on investment, risk management and wealth management, and document all client interactions
• Monitor client satisfaction and revenue, and escalate policy breaches
• Build and maintain relationships with CEOs, CFOs and Treasurers, and develop account plans to grow wallet share
• Drive business development and revenue growth through Treasury Coverage (lending, trade and working capital, deposits) and cross-border coverage with APAC group relationship directors

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of corporate banking relationship management experience
• Proven track record covering large Singapore corporates, GLCs/TLCs, listed companies and large private groups
• Strong relationships with C-suite and treasury decision makers
• Demonstrated origination capability and ability to manage a portfolio independently
• Experience covering Malaysia, Indonesia and/or Thailand is a bonus
