Remote Junior Social Media Manager (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Junior Social Media Manager to lead our Instagram and Facebook presence for a pet‑focused e‑commerce brand. The role is contract‑based and will support the growth of our Shopify store in the US market by creating authentic, premium‑quality content for pet owners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a weekly content calendar for Instagram and Facebook, including posts, reels, stories and captions.
• Produce on‑brand graphics, photos and short‑form videos that appeal to pet lovers.
• Write engaging copy that reflects the brand’s tone and values.
• Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies to maximise reach and engagement.
• Respond to comments and direct messages to foster community interaction.
• Track performance metrics and prepare regular reports to inform future content plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social media accounts for e‑commerce or consumer brands.
• Strong eye for visual storytelling and attention to detail.
• Excellent written English and ability to maintain a consistent brand voice.
• Self‑motivated, organized and comfortable working independently with an international team.
