Remote Tax Consultant – $55-$75/hr

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Consultant (EA/CPA) to join our client on a contract basis. This remote position involves applying your US tax expertise to train next‑generation AI systems, ensuring high‑quality, real‑world input for finance‑focused models.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze US federal and state tax statutes, focusing on statutory language, conditions, thresholds, logic, and legal exceptions.
• Review and evaluate English translations of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide comprehensive, structured written feedback within a review UI to ensure regulatory compliance and high‑quality output.
• Apply logical reasoning to identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional team members and stakeholders to clarify interpretations and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of US tax law, including federal and state statutes, regulations, and court decisions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient written communication with ability to give clear, concise feedback.
• Strong logical reasoning and critical thinking skills.
