Report Engineer (Assistant Civil Engineer)

About the role

Geonamics (S) Pte Ltd is looking for a Report Engineer, also described as an Assistant Civil Engineer, to support the engineering team by preparing project reports and documentation. The role covers progress reporting, work done summaries and monthly project updates.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate progress reports for ongoing projects, highlighting key milestones, achievements and challenges.
• Assist in preparing comprehensive work done reports, detailing completed tasks, materials used and any deviations from the initial plan.
• Support the engineering team in maintaining internal quality management documents so that project processes follow standards.
• Update and maintain monthly reports on project status and resource allocation to give a clear overview of project performance.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned, contributing to the success of the engineering department.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; candidates who do not meet this minimum but have relevant experience will be considered.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented, able to spot errors and discrepancies in reports and documents.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret project data, identify trends and make informed recommendations.
• Good organisational skills to manage several reports and tasks at once.
• Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, contractors and clients.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the MS Office suite, AutoCAD or project management software.
