Research Analyst – AI‑Enabled Disinformation (CENS)

About the role

The S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) at Nanyang Technological University is seeking a Research Analyst, Senior Analyst or Associate Research Fellow for its Centre of Excellence for National Security (CENS). The position focuses on AI‑enabled disinformation, rumours, untruths, misinformation, smears and strategic communications relevant to Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute significantly to CENS’s policy‑research agenda on AI‑enabled disinformation and related strategic communications.
• Perform administrative duties to support the centre’s operations.
• Foster a collegial environment and collaborate across CENS and RSIS to enhance research productivity and institutional citizenship.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field or at least three years of related professional experience.
• Strong understanding of AI‑enabled disinformation issues and ability to conduct policy‑relevant research.
• Excellent command of English with solid writing and research capabilities.
• Preferably familiarity with AI tools such as vibe‑coding and using AI to improve research efficiency.
