Research Assistant / Associate – Patient & Public Involvement in Climate & Health

About the role
The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) at NTU is seeking a Research Assistant or Research Associate to support patient and public involvement (PPI) in climate‑health research. The role will ensure that community perspectives shape study design, data collection, and communication strategies, contributing to evidence‑based interventions that address environmental determinants of health.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update research databases.
- Coordinate communications among the community advisory group, research team, and participants.
- Conduct literature searches and assist in manuscript preparation.
- Collect data using mixed‑method approaches.
- Perform statistical analyses and synthesize evidence.
- Draft progress reports and final research reports.
- Provide administrative support for the research programme.
Required profile
- BSc (Research Assistant) or MSc (Research Associate) in psychology, social sciences, or health‑related disciplines.
- Solid foundation in mixed‑method analysis.
- Familiarity with Public and Patient Involvement principles.
- Strong initiative and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Prior experience in community work is desirable.
