Research Assistant – Neuroimaging & Adolescent Mental Health

About the role

The Youth Affective Neuroscience Lab at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore is seeking a Research Assistant to support interdisciplinary studies on adolescent mental health using neuroimaging data. The role involves contributing to data-driven projects that aim at early detection and precision health for youth.

Key responsibilities

• Support grant reporting, ethics compliance, and project documentation.
• Conduct data cleaning and management for large‑scale longitudinal datasets.
• Assist with neuroimaging and statistical analyses.
• Integrate multi‑cohort data from local and international sources.
• Contribute to research publications and grant deliverables.
• Support ongoing adolescent neuroscience research projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Neuroscience, Psychology, Data Science or a related field.
• Experience in neuroimaging or advanced statistical modelling (preferred).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB or R (preferred).
• Familiarity with machine‑learning methods (advantageous).
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork abilities.
