Research Assistant – Quantum Computing

About the role
The Nanyang Quantum Solutions team at NTU Singapore is looking for a Research Assistant to develop new quantum algorithmic solutions based on Riemannian geometry. You will work closely with Prof. Marek Gluza, contributing theoretical support for experimental quantum hardware.
Key responsibilities
- Optimize quantum compilation for execution on quantum hardware.
- Support quantum algorithm research through auxiliary data processing tasks.
- Analyze and explore new research directions in quantum computing.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics, computer science or a related field.
- At least one year of relevant experience in quantum computing research.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet strict timelines, and manage details meticulously.
