Research Assistant – Quantum Computing

About the role

The Nanyang Quantum Solutions team at NTU Singapore is looking for a Research Assistant to develop new quantum algorithmic solutions based on Riemannian geometry. You will work closely with Prof. Marek Gluza, contributing theoretical support for experimental quantum hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize quantum compilation for execution on quantum hardware.
• Support quantum algorithm research through auxiliary data processing tasks.
• Analyze and explore new research directions in quantum computing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics, computer science or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant experience in quantum computing research.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet strict timelines, and manage details meticulously.
