Research Associate in Nanomedicine

About the role

The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at NTU seeks a Research Associate to join Prof. Chen Peng’s nanomedicine group. The role focuses on developing advanced therapeutic technologies for metabolic disorders and cancers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, and manage multidisciplinary research projects in nanomedicine.
• Synthesize and characterize nanomaterials, conduct cell culture, molecular biology, and mouse experiments.
• Analyse data, troubleshoot technical challenges, and contribute to scientific publications.
• Supervise undergraduate and junior researchers, and collaborate with internal and external partners.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
• Strong publication record and experience leading research projects.
• Experience supervising students and conducting mouse experiments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
