About the role
Join the Centre for Quantum Technologies at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore as a Research Fellow focusing on experimental quantum processors based on neutral atom arrays. You will lead the development of the experimental apparatus, handle data acquisition and analysis, and supervise undergraduate and PhD students.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop optical systems for advanced ultracold atom experiments.
- Implement optical interfaces for quantum processor applications.
- Prepare and present regular progress updates to the Principal Investigator.
- Provide guidance and supervision to a small research team of students and junior researchers.
Required profile
- PhD in Experimental Physics, Quantum Physics, Optics or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge or experience with cold atom systems, laser and vacuum systems, or photonics.
- Strong capability in experimental design, data acquisition and data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
- Experience supervising or mentoring students is advantageous.
