About the role
The Reservation Agent will handle all room reservation enquiries for Mondrian Singapore Duxton, ensuring a high standard of customer service while maximizing revenue. Working under the guidance of the Reservation Supervisor, you will be the first point of contact for guests via phone, fax or email.
Key responsibilities
- Answer incoming reservation enquiries promptly and convert them into bookings.
- Enter and maintain accurate reservation data in the Opera system.
- Update special requests, billing details and any ancillary services in Opera.
- Apply minimum rate and stay strategies set by the revenue team.
- Upsell hotel products and services to increase length of stay and revenue.
- Maintain organized filing systems for all departmental correspondence.
- Identify potential sales leads for the sales team.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support the Reservations Supervisor as needed.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
- Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the Opera reservation system.
- Experience using the TARS reservation system.
