Resident Architect

About the role

The Resident Architect will lead and supervise the architectural site team, ensuring that all design and fit‑out works are executed to the highest standards. This role involves close coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve on‑site issues and keep projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise architectural site staff in monitoring, inspecting, and overseeing architectural and fit‑out works.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, QPs, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve site‑related architectural issues.
• Monitor construction progress and enforce compliance with statutory regulations, codes of practice, and quality‑control procedures.
• Review architectural works, including roof & façade systems, architectural systems, and interior fit‑out works.
• Prepare and submit site reports, inspection records, and progress updates.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to construction challenges to ensure smooth project execution.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture recognized by the Board of Architects.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant architectural experience, with at least 5 years in site supervision of projects of similar scale and complexity.
• Experience in major building construction projects, particularly architectural and fit‑out works.
• Proven leadership experience managing architectural site supervision teams.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
