Resident Engineer (Civil & Structural)

About the role

As a Resident Engineer (Civil & Structural) you will lead the supervision of civil and structural construction projects across Singapore, ensuring they meet approved drawings, specifications and safety standards. You will act as the primary on‑site liaison between contractors, consultants and the client to drive timely and quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil and structural works to ensure compliance with design documents and technical specifications.
• Monitor and enforce quality control and safety protocols on‑site, minimizing risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections, maintain detailed progress records and identify issues early.
• Review contractors’ method statements and submissions to confirm alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to manage project schedules and resolve technical challenges.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of site supervision or Resident Engineer experience.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore construction regulations.
• Resident Engineer registration with IES is mandatory.
• Experience on large‑scale infrastructure or building projects is preferred.
