Resident Engineer

About the role

The Resident Engineer will lead the on‑site technical supervision team, ensuring that all construction activities meet project specifications, regulatory standards and client expectations. Reporting to the C&S Qualified Person and Project Manager, you will act as the key technical liaison between the project and all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Technical Supervisors on site.
• Report progress, quality, safety and technical matters to the C&S Qualified Person and Project Manager.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders to resolve issues and keep the project on schedule.
• Supervise and inspect structural works for compliance with approved drawings, specifications and statutory requirements.
• Identify, document and follow up on non‑conforming works, ensuring timely rectification.
• Oversee Civil & Structural, Architectural and M&E site supervision activities.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship and construction quality while ensuring adherence to schedules and safety requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to site supervisors.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technical supervision teams on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of construction specifications, regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with authorities, consultants and contractors.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
