Resident Technical Officer (Architecture)

About the role

Aedas is seeking a Resident Technical Officer (Architectural) to lead the architectural delivery of assigned projects from inception to completion. The role combines on‑site supervision, coordination with contractors and consultants, and support to the design team to ensure projects meet client specifications, budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general site supervision and organise regular site meetings.
• Coordinate with contractors and trade partners, issuing work orders and monitoring progress.
• Assist the Architectural Design Team in implementing design changes and updates.
• Manage day‑to‑day site matters and collaborate with multidisciplinary consultants on design details.
• Maintain accurate site records documenting work progress.
• Undertake any additional project‑related duties as instructed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification.
• 8–10 years of experience supervising architectural and civil‑structural projects.
• Strong knowledge of local construction practices, building codes and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills with the ability to work effectively with site staff.
