Resident Technical Officer – C&S (Jurong Island)

About the role

The Resident Technical Officer will lead construction activities on Jurong Island, focusing on drainage systems, pavement works, taxiways and runways. You will ensure all works meet Singapore standards and maintain a safe, high‑quality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage construction of drainage, pavement, taxiway and runway infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and project specifications throughout the lifecycle.
• Conduct regular inspections for quality control and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor project progress, providing budget and schedule updates.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols on site.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Resident Technical Officer on construction projects.
• Mandatory experience in piling works.
• Proven ability in project management and construction supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of working independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
