Resident Technical Officer - M&E (Pumping Station)

About the role

The Resident Technical Officer – M&E will lead the mechanical and electrical works for a pumping station project in Woodlands. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will ensure that all construction activities comply with Singapore’s Building Control Act and MOM regulations while delivering the project on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the installation and commissioning of pumps and associated M&E systems.
• Maintain accurate site records, contract documents and reporting in line with the Building Control Act.
• Administer contracts, manage the on‑site team and coordinate with the Project Team, Qualified Person (QP) and contractors.
• Monitor progress, verify that materials and workmanship meet approved specifications, codes and standards.
• Identify and rectify non‑conformances in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising construction of mechanical and electrical works, preferably in pump installations.
• Strong knowledge of the Building Control Act, MOM regulations on building works and contract administration.
• Proven ability to manage site teams and maintain systematic documentation.

What we offer

• Fixed‑term contract for 24 months.
• Monthly salary SGD 4,200 – 4,900.
• Time‑off in lieu of overtime.
