Retail Trainer – Southeast Asia

About the role

The Retail Trainer will support the SEAO HR Director in delivering and localising retail training programmes across Southeast Asia. This role ensures new hires receive comprehensive induction and that existing store teams benefit from focused training on brand, product knowledge, sales techniques, customer service and CRM tools.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the HR Director in deploying retail training activities and localising headquarter initiatives.
• Select, brief and monitor external providers or facilitators when required.
• Organise and deliver induction sessions for new retail and office hires in appropriate formats.
• Conduct focused training sessions for stores based on local needs, covering brand, products, selling, customer service and CRM topics.
• Manage training logistics, including classroom settings, venue rental, equipment, and preparation of training materials.
• Promote and follow up on digital training platforms and e‑learning initiatives, ensuring high completion rates.
• Develop follow‑up tools, conduct in‑store coaching, and gather constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Perform regular store visits, prepare quick‑fix workshops, and monitor usage of training materials.
• Maintain and update training databases with attendance, dates, evaluations and other records.
• Collaborate with the APAC Senior Training Manager and retail heads to identify training needs and complete the annual training schedule.
