Ride & Show Manager – Theme Park Operations

About the role

The Ride & Show Manager leads the technical team responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all rides, shows and associated equipment at Universal Studios Singapore. You will drive preventive maintenance, oversee troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Ride & Show department, setting short‑ and long‑term goals.
• Develop and implement structured preventive maintenance programmes for rides, shows and related equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and on schedule.
• Collaborate with the attractions recovery team on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and recovery.
• Oversee spare parts planning and manage third‑party vendors for outsourced work.
• Understand and apply BCA amusement ride safety regulations; act as the BCA‑approved Ride Manager.
• Provide park operations support as a Duty Manager.
• Guide and administer training programmes for the team.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering environment involving electrical, mechanical and/or motion‑control systems.
• Proven ability to establish and manage a reliability programme.
• Prior experience supporting theme‑park technical operations is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, teamwork and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
