About the role

Join Bosch Group as a Robotics & Embodied‑AI Research Engineer Intern and gain hands‑on experience developing cutting‑edge automation solutions. You will work closely with senior engineers on vision‑guided robotic systems, contributing to real‑world industrial projects while expanding your knowledge of AI and robotics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and test vision‑guided robotic pick‑and‑place workflows.
• Integrate industrial cameras and robot platforms for object detection and pose estimation.
• Support robot programming, calibration, and motion‑optimization tasks.
• Assist in debugging, data collection, and system validation activities.
• Collaborate with engineers on automation and AI‑based vision solutions.
• Explore state‑of‑the‑art embodied‑AI models (e.g., VLA, Word Model) and apply them to industrial use cases.

Required profile

• Available to work full‑time for a period of six months.
• Undergraduate or graduate studies in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2 and computer‑vision projects.
• Advanced knowledge of Python, C++ and machine‑learning concepts.
• Self‑motivated with strong independent learning abilities.
