Safety Specialist

About the role

Airbnb is seeking a Safety Specialist to join its Community Support team in Singapore. You will be the frontline point of contact for guests and hosts facing serious safety concerns, ranging from discrimination and personal threats to human trafficking and self‑harm.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex safety cases across multiple channels (live chat, phone, social platforms, messaging).
• Identify, assess, and triage threatening or risky behaviors, escalating to specialized teams when required.
• Apply Airbnb’s safety policies and workflows while exercising sound judgment and empathy.
• Maintain accurate case records and provide timely resolutions to protect survivors and restore their safety.
• Adapt to evolving business needs, including rotating across different Community Support squads.
