Sales Associate – Kitchen & Home Design (One‑Year Contract)

About the role

Join IKEA's showroom team to help customers create their ideal kitchen and home spaces. You will use your knowledge of IKEA's product range and planning tools to guide shoppers through design, purchase, and installation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in designing kitchen layouts using IKEA Home Planner and floor‑plan tools.
• Provide accurate cost estimates, timelines, and product recommendations.
• Coordinate with the kitchen service provider to ensure timely delivery and installation.
• Cross‑check colleague‑drawn kitchen plans to minimise errors.
• Promote IKEA services such as delivery, assembly, installation, and financing.
• Support the department manager in commercial plans, promotions, and activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in IKEA sales, preferably in kitchen furniture and accessories.
• Strong interest in home furnishing and everyday living spaces.
• Ability to work retail shift patterns, including weekends and public holidays.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accurate planning and execution.

Required skills

• IKEA Home Planner proficiency
• Kitchen floor‑plan and site‑measurement expertise
• Knowledge of IKEA Kitchen planning, layout, and installation criteria
