Sales Associate – Showroom Kitchen & Home Design (1‑Year Contract)

About the role

Join IKEA’s showroom team to help customers design and purchase kitchen and home furnishings. You will use your knowledge of IKEA’s product range and planning tools to guide shoppers through the entire buying journey, from concept to installation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in designing ideal kitchen layouts using IKEA Home Planner and floor‑plan tools.
• Take accurate site measurements and provide cost estimates and project timelines.
• Cross‑check colleagues’ kitchen drawings to minimise errors.
• Coordinate with the kitchen service provider to ensure timely delivery and installation.
• Promote and explain IKEA services such as delivery, assembly, installation, and financing.
• Support the department’s commercial plan, activities and promotions.

Required profile

• Interest in sales, home furnishing and everyday living spaces.
• Experience in planning, designing and selling furniture in a retail environment.
• Ability to work retail shift patterns, including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong eye for detail and customer‑focused attitude.
