Sales Director (Financial Institutions)

About the role

We are a hyper‑growth fintech building payment infrastructure for banks across APAC. As Sales Director for Financial Institutions you will lead new‑business efforts, targeting regional, challenger and emerging‑market banks to sell our correspondent‑banking, virtual‑account, FX and cross‑border payment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a pipeline of APAC banks requiring currency access and payment capabilities.
• Generate opportunities through outreach, industry networks, events and inbound enquiries.
• Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract negotiation and client activation—while meeting multi‑million‑dollar targets.
• Navigate complex buying processes involving treasury, compliance, operations and senior executives.
• Build executive relationships and secure internal champions within prospective banks.
• Coordinate with product, risk, compliance, implementation and customer‑success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and early transaction volumes.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling payment, treasury or fintech solutions to banks.
• Established network of decision‑makers at mid‑tier banks, especially within treasury or correspondent‑banking functions.
• Ability to run a full sales cycle independently without SDR/BDR support.
• Comfortable in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.
