Sales Executive – Off‑Trade (Beer)

About the role

Heineken is looking for a Sales Executive to manage the Off‑Trade channel, driving volume growth and strengthening relationships with outlets. The role involves planning, executing promotions, and gathering market intelligence to support Heineken’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a sales plan for the assigned Off‑Trade district in consultation with the Area Sales Manager.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with outlet owners, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities to increase sales.
• Negotiate business terms, volume incentives, and trade initiatives while monitoring cost and profitability.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Trade Marketing to execute advertising, promotions, and BTL activities, ensuring brand strategy compliance.
• Prepare and present business plans, review performance with outlet owners, and provide regular reports on sales activities.
• Monitor promotional agents, respond to inquiries and complaints, and work with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Collect market intelligence on competitor activities and recommend counter‑measures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sales activities, both electronic and physical.

Required profile

• Proven ability to develop sales plans and achieve volume targets.
• Strong customer‑facing skills with experience managing outlet relationships.
• Good understanding of trade terms, incentives, and promotional activities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with marketing, trade, and internal support teams.
• Analytical mindset to gather market intelligence and produce actionable reports.
