Sales Manager – FMCG Retail Accounts

About the role

You will partner with leading international FMCG brands to manage strategic customer relationships and drive commercial growth across Singapore's modern trade channels. The role focuses on developing account strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to maximise sales performance and brand visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with key supermarket and convenience retail accounts.
• Drive sales growth through effective account planning and execution.
• Prepare and submit listing applications, new product proposals, and trade promotion plans.
• Negotiate trading terms, promotional activities, shelf space, and in‑store visibility.
• Monitor sales performance, sell‑through, and key account KPIs, recommending improvement strategies.
• Analyse retail and store‑level sales data to identify opportunities and address performance gaps.
• Monitor stock availability, resolve out‑of‑stock issues, and coordinate replenishment with operations and logistics.
• Ensure consistent implementation of planograms, promotional displays, and in‑store marketing activities.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of trade promotions and retail marketing initiatives.
• Resolve customer issues related to stock discrepancies, deliveries, and product quality.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and logistics teams for seamless execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG key account management within supermarkets.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of achieving sales growth.
• Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in sales reporting and performance analysis.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
