Sales Supervisor – Retail Store

About the role

The Sales Supervisor will support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations. This role ensures a high level of customer service, brand presentation, and team performance within a luxury retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and report to the Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager on daily store activities.
• Supervise and motivate a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent client service.
• Handle client enquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain store presentation in line with Hermès brand standards.
• Oversee housekeeping and cleaning duties, performing them when necessary.
• Coordinate execution of sales plans and store events with the team.
• Enforce security measures and monitor store safety.
• Provide on‑the‑job and product training to develop sales staff.
• Communicate timely with internal and external parties via email, text, and phone.
• Mentor assistant sales supervisors and act as a role model for grooming and conduct.

Required profile

• Passion for the retail industry and luxury goods.
• Tech‑savvy with a good understanding of digital tools.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Team‑player, service‑oriented, self‑motivated and pleasant.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
