Sales Team Lead - National Government (APAC)

About the role

As a Sales Team Lead for National Government accounts in the APAC region, you will drive the adoption of Esri’s geospatial technology across large government organisations. You will coach and motivate a virtual sales team, develop strategic account plans, and work closely with senior decision‑makers to help them achieve their mission objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a sales team through active coaching, clear direction, and regular feedback.
• Strategically manage the full sales cycle for national government accounts, from prospecting to closing.
• Build and nurture relationships with executive‑level stakeholders and navigate complex budgeting and procurement processes.
• Develop and present location‑based strategies at trade shows, workshops, and seminars.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of ArcGIS and its value propositions for national security and broader government initiatives.
• Research market trends, prepare negotiations, and deliver tailored solutions that meet customer mission goals.

Required profile

• 8+ years of enterprise sales, consulting, or program‑management experience.
• 3+ years of experience mentoring, motivating, and coaching a sales team.
• Proven ability to design and execute growth strategies for business‑to‑government sales.
• Strong understanding of APAC fiscal years, budgeting cycles, and procurement processes.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
