Sample Coordinator (Sample Management)

About the role

Labcorp is seeking a Sample Coordinator to join its Bioanalytical team in Singapore. The role coordinates the receipt, tracking, processing, shipment and documentation of clinical trial samples so that they are handled in line with study protocols, regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, accession, track, label, store, ship and dispose of clinical samples
• Verify sample inventory accuracy and resolve or escalate discrepancies
• Maintain study records, laboratory documentation and department logbooks
• Manage reference materials and matrices inventory
• Support after-hours sample receipt and environmental monitoring activities
• Coordinate sample logging, receipt confirmation and sample tracking and reconciliation
• Support project activities, process improvement initiatives and cross-functional collaboration

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in science from an accredited college or university
• At least 3 months of internship exposure in commercial, diagnostic or analytical laboratories
• Preferred: strong knowledge of clinical trials, clinical research and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
