Scaffolding Technician – Construction

About the role

Exentec Singapore is seeking a skilled Scaffolding Technician to support construction activities at height. The role involves erecting, inspecting, and dismantling scaffolding systems safely and efficiently under the guidance of a qualified supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Use proper fall protection devices while performing scaffold work.
• Erect scaffolds in accordance with approved designs and manufacturer recommendations.
• Inspect work areas to determine the appropriate type of scaffolding required.
• Remove scaffolding structures when projects are completed.
• Follow all site safety, quality, and access specifications.
• Maintain and be responsible for tools and equipment issued by the company.
• Adhere to all safety policies, wear required protective gear, and report status updates to supervisors.
• Perform any ad‑hoc duties assigned by the manager or engineer.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in scaffold erection.
• Valid Work at Height certification.
• Certified Metal Scaffold Erector.
• Secondary level education or equivalent.
