SCM Customer Experience Consultant (4-Month Contract)

About the role

Maersk, a global leader in integrated logistics, is looking for a customer-focused SCM Customer Experience Consultant on a 4-month contract. You will act as a key operational contact for assigned customers, working closely with internal teams, vendors and supply-chain partners to coordinate shipments, manage exceptions and deliver a reliable customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end shipment execution in line with agreed SOPs, KPIs and SLAs.
• Proactively monitor shipments, identify potential service issues and drive timely resolution.
• Keep customers informed of shipment status, exceptions, solutions and next steps.
• Support vendor management and shipment-order consolidation planning, without physical cargo execution.
• Monitor operational performance and support corrective actions for recurring issues.
• Support customer onboarding and maintain operational documentation and SOPs.
• Drive adoption of relevant digital solutions and identify opportunities to simplify and improve processes.
• Take ownership of customer issues and follow them through to resolution.

Required profile

• Background in Supply Chain Management, logistics, customer experience or operations.
• Good understanding of shipping, logistics and end-to-end shipment processes.
• Strong customer communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage operational exceptions and competing priorities.
• Customer-focused, proactive and solutions-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn.
