Security Analyst

About the role

The Security Analyst protects the organization’s systems, networks, and data from cyber threats and security breaches. You will continuously monitor security events, investigate alerts, and help strengthen overall cybersecurity defenses.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and logs to detect suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential threats.
• Investigate security alerts, analyze risk patterns, and assess the severity and impact of incidents.
• Respond to security incidents by containing threats, conducting root‑cause analysis, and coordinating remediation with IT and engineering teams.
• Support vulnerability management by identifying weaknesses and recommending improvements.
• Conduct security assessments, audits, and compliance checks to ensure alignment with internal policies and external regulations.
• Maintain security documentation and contribute to the development of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, evaluate security tools, and enhance organizational resilience.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and information security fundamentals.
• Knowledge of network security, system security, and threat detection techniques.
• Ability to monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents effectively.
