Senior Accountant – Full Set, SAP, Commercial Finance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a multinational engineering and industrial services firm. The role offers a broad accounting scope, working closely with operational teams to drive financial performance and support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts and daily accounting operations.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities within deadlines.
• Prepare management reports, financial statements, balance‑sheet reconciliations and cash‑flow reports.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Partner with project and operational teams to monitor project profitability and costs.
• Ensure compliance with GST, corporate tax, audit and other statutory reporting requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, banks and regulatory authorities.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, internal controls and reporting accuracy.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial accounting experience, handling full‑set accounts independently.
• Strong month‑end and year‑end closing experience.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP (mandatory).
• Good understanding of Singapore accounting standards, GST and statutory reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management across business functions.
