Senior Accountant – Group Consolidation

About the role

The Group Accountant will lead consolidation activities for StarHub’s expanding inorganic group, ensuring accurate monthly results and seamless integration of newly acquired entities. This senior position works closely with subsidiary finance teams and supports external audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate timely closing of StarHub Group consolidated financial results.
• Maintain permanent and intercompany elimination entries in the general ledger.
• Manage intercompany transactions and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Produce the consolidated reporting package and annual report for the Group.
• Partner with local and foreign subsidiary finance teams on monthly close activities.
• Support acquisition integration and drive process‑improvement, automation, and ad‑hoc projects.
• Facilitate external audit during the audit period.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in a large audit firm, multinational corporation, or publicly listed company.
• Strong working knowledge of SFRS(I) accounting, group reporting and consolidation.
• Self‑motivated, resourceful, hands‑on and meticulous.
