Senior Analyst - Data Centre Acquisition and Development

About the role

A client of Citadel Search is looking for an Acquisition and Development Senior Analyst (Data Centres) to identify and develop business opportunities and help expand its real estate portfolio in the APAC region. The role focuses on market intelligence research and investment assessment, with a strong emphasis on data centre development.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out market intelligence research on prospective clients, strategic partners, competitors and the industry to spot opportunities for portfolio expansion in data centres.
• Run market analyses, such as tracking market trends, to support investment decisions across asset classes in APAC, centred on data centres.
• Draft and present business proposals and marketing materials and obtain final approval from senior management.
• Help negotiate with government agencies, partners, financial institutions and other stakeholders on data centre projects.
• Build relationships with government agencies and business partners in the data centre sector for future collaboration.
• Work with headquarters and other APAC offices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration or Marketing.
• At least 2 years of experience in real estate business development, ideally with exposure to data centre development.
• Knowledge of regional government and statutory authority regulations and submission/approval processes for data centres.
• Ability to secure profitable business opportunities and grow a real estate portfolio for data centres.

Required skills

• APAC real estate knowledge of the infrastructure development process, regulatory landscape and financing facilities, ideally in data centres.
• Strong business acumen, communication and analytical skills.
