Senior Architectural Executive

About the role

The Senior Architectural Executive will support the Project Director and senior architects in delivering high‑quality design solutions while ensuring compliance with Singapore’s building regulations. This role blends design leadership, project coordination, and business development within a dynamic multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Director/Associate/Architect in executing design and management strategies across projects.
• Coordinate inputs and outputs of all parties, ensuring objectives and timelines are met.
• Review designs for regulatory compliance and maintain project schedules.
• Conduct pre‑design studies, feasibility analyses, and site/ zoning assessments.
• Develop concept and detailed designs aligned with client briefs, budgets, and authority requirements.
• Prepare project documentation, tender packages, material specifications, and finish schedules.
• Manage construction‑stage activities, resolve site and design issues, and oversee handovers.
• Administer building contracts, check shop drawings, and liaise with consultants and technical officers.
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to sustainability best practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture (BArch or MArch) or recognized graduate diploma.
• Strong understanding of planning, building codes, and Singapore’s Building Control Act.
• Organised, meticulous, analytical with a holistic design approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively and meet challenging deadlines.
