Senior Assistant Manager – Advancement & Donor Relations

About the role

The University Advancement Office at NTU seeks a Senior Assistant Manager to partner with frontline fundraisers, craft compelling donor proposals, and design engaging cultivation experiences that inspire major gifts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine comprehensive gift proposals and pitch decks that align faculty needs with donor interests.
• Collaborate with internal teams and academic administrators to gather programme, financial, and impact data for proposals.
• Create presentation materials that reinforce consistent NTU messaging and support the Major Gifts team.
• Maintain a repository of proposal templates, case studies, institutional data, and best practices.
• Design, plan, coordinate, and execute donor cultivation events and engagement sessions, managing logistics and stakeholder involvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications or a related field.
• 6–7 years of experience in higher education or a similarly complex organization, working with senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with fundraising, philanthropy, or advancement sectors is advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage complex relationships and collaborate across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience organizing professional events.
• Excellent written communication with a track record of developing business cases, proposals, and presentations.
• Strong planning and organisational skills, able to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines.
