Senior Assistant Manager, Clinical Education

About the role

NHG Health is looking for a Senior Assistant Manager for its Clinical Education function in Singapore. The role shapes high-quality clinical education that trains future healthcare professionals, ensuring proper governance, development and innovation of clinical education while upholding robust frameworks and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the appointment of clinicians as faculty for clinical training
• Administer faculty recognition initiatives, projects, events and teaching awards
• Support faculty growth and competency through development opportunities such as conference sponsorship and postgraduate studies
• Foster an engaged and thriving educator community
• Take part in cluster-wide and cross-functional projects that advance NHG Health's vision, working with clinical, academic and administrative teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of work experience
• Preferred: experience in education administration, clinical education or workplace learning
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Effective interpersonal skills and confidence working with diverse stakeholders
• Resourceful, meticulous, able to work independently and collaboratively, with strong organisation and multi-tasking skills
• Passion for contributing to Singapore's healthcare education landscape

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• An added advantage: skills in IT systems, data management or data analytics
