Senior Assistant Manager, Innovation & Improvement Office

About the role

The Senior Assistant Manager joins the Analytics team within the Innovation & Improvement Office. The team partners with stakeholders to interpret and present statistical outcomes that support improvement initiatives, and works across departments to solve challenges using data, Data Science, optimisation and machine learning.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse data in depth (extraction, processing and analysis), formulate insights and recommend actions that support project outcomes and the business case.
• Build solutions using Generative AI and create dashboards with Power BI or Tableau.
• Assist projects from conception to completion and help set metrics and KPIs to track improvement initiatives.
• Report regularly on project progress, insights and impact to key stakeholders.
• Work with doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, operations staff and other departments to foster continuous improvement.
• Align department goals with the hospital's business goals and provide secretariat and administrative support to the department and hospital.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or a related quantitative discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience in service industry or healthcare-related areas preferred.
• Strong data analysis acumen, problem-solving skills and ability to work with incomplete or imperfect data.
• Good writing and communication skills, able to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable with uncertainty, independent, proactive and eager to learn.
