Senior Assistant Manager, Transition & Integration

About the role

The Student and Academic Services Department (SASD) at NTU is seeking a Senior Assistant Manager to lead Transition & Integration initiatives. You will work within the Student Affairs Office to help local and international students adjust to university life, ensuring a smooth first‑year experience and fostering a vibrant campus community.

Key responsibilities

• Support and drive the implementation of the Transition and Orientation Programme (TOP), handling coordination, safety, training and logistics.
• Collaborate with schools, residential halls, student organisations and NTU offices to achieve programme objectives.
• Review and strengthen the TOP framework to deliver a robust first‑year transition experience.
• Lead integration initiatives for international students, promoting cultural exchange and social mixing.
• Work with internal stakeholders to embed international student support across the university.
• Lead or support cross‑functional student development projects and committees as required.

Required profile

• Degree in any discipline.
• At least 6 years of experience in student engagement or student development.
• Experience in the tertiary education sector is an advantage.
• Background in youth development, orientation programmes, or international student integration.
• Strong project‑management and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
