Senior Associate - Financial Services Tax

About the role

PwC's Tax practice in Singapore, one of its largest, is hiring a Senior Associate for its Financial Services Tax line of service within Corporate Tax. The role advises financial services clients on local and overseas tax matters, including tax structuring, working capital and profit-sharing arrangements, and the tax implications of related-party pricing and deals. It suits someone who wants to help clients navigate a complex, changing national and international tax environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist managers and partners in delivering comprehensive tax compliance and advisory services to top-tier corporate clients in the financial services industry.
• Prepare and review corporate tax returns.
• Help clients resolve disputes and respond to enquiries from the tax authority.
• Provide tax advice and solutions under management guidance.

Required profile

• Recognised degree or relevant professional qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of tax compliance and advisory experience in a large or medium-sized public accounting firm.
• Preferably a member of the Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals (SIATP).
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to obtain government clearance; work visa sponsorship available.
