Senior Associate / Manager, Digital Forensics & eDiscovery

About the role

PwC's Risk Services practice, within its Governance, Risk & Compliance Forensics Services team, is hiring a Senior Associate / Manager for digital forensics and eDiscovery. The team applies technology-based solutions to information management and e-discovery needs, advises clients on risk mitigation and compliance, and uses forensic tools to support investigations and dispute resolution, sometimes acting as expert witnesses.

Key responsibilities

• Work in project teams to conduct fraud and other forensic investigations from a financial and accounting perspective
• Support engagement team leaders and managers across multiple projects through financial data analysis, interviews and review of electronic data
• Use forensic and e-discovery tools to present clear facts and findings
• Collect forensic data from computers, servers and mobile devices while preserving evidential integrity
• Analyse quantitative data and use data mining solutions
• Advise clients, explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and draft reports and presentations
• Present findings in closing meetings with the engagement team and client stakeholders
• Maintain forensic certifications and provide expert testimony; may support GRC projects such as internal controls, SOX and IT internal audit reviews

Required profile

• At least 4-6 years of relevant consulting or advisory experience; forensics advisory or law enforcement experience is favoured
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, Law, Computer Science, IT, Information Security or related fields
• Adaptable, self-driven learner with strong analytical, communication and people skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to travel, as it is required for the position
• Visa sponsorship available; government clearance required

Required skills

• Preferred: computer and mobile forensics, memory, network and application forensics, database and network protocols and security
• Preferred: Python, shell scripting, Java, JavaScript, PHP
• Preferred: EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite, Oxygen Forensics, Nuix, Relativity; Windows, Mac and Linux
• Preferred certifications: EnCE, CFE, CISSP
