Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

Gebruder Weiss is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead new‑client acquisition and expand existing accounts in the Central Region of Singapore. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities in the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
• Secure new customers while maintaining and developing existing accounts.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to enhance retention and generate upsell opportunities.
• Respond to customer communications promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design customized logistics solutions.
• Develop and execute sales action plans and strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in senior business development or sales, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Demonstrated track record of generating and closing new business.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to assess market trends.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems to track and report sales performance.
