Senior Business Process Automation Analyst

About the role

The Senior Business Process Automation Analyst will lead the design, development, testing, implementation and management of automation solutions for business processes within NTU's Enterprise IT unit. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective automation initiatives that enhance efficiency across the university community.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess and prioritize automation opportunities.
• Develop project plans and timelines for automation initiatives.
• Design, source, evaluate and develop automation solutions that meet business needs.
• Work with stakeholders and vendors to test and implement automation solutions.
• Manage and maintain automation solutions, monitor performance and resolve issues.
• Communicate project status, risks and mitigation plans to business stakeholders.
• Lead adoption of IT automation and provide training or clinics to promote usage.
• Stay current with trends in automation tools and technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in business process review, streamlining and IT automation delivery, preferably in higher education.
• Proven ability to analyse complex processes, create process maps and identify bottlenecks.
• Strong communication skills to explain automation benefits to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple automation projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.

• Workflow management systems.
• Scripting languages, particularly Python.
