Senior Civil Engineer – Data Centre Infrastructure

About the role

B&W Engineering is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead the design and delivery of site infrastructure for data centre projects. You will be responsible for roads, drainage, and utility networks, ensuring they meet project requirements and Singapore authority standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead civil and site infrastructure design, including roads, stormwater drainage, and underground utilities.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Manage civil packages from concept through construction support, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support authority submissions (PUB, LTA, BCA) and obtain approvals.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and government agencies on design and delivery matters.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence.
• Identify and implement improvements in design efficiency, constructability, and sustainability, including BIM and digital engineering workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Singapore or working towards it (preferred).
• Familiarity with Singapore codes and authority requirements (PUB, LTA, BCA).
• Membership with Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) or equivalent (preferred).
• Proven senior‑level experience in consultancy or infrastructure projects, especially roads, drainage, and utilities for industrial or data‑centre sites.
