Senior Commercial Director - AI Solutions, APAC

About the role

CoverGo, a global insurtech platform for health, life and property & casualty insurance, is rolling out AI agents and expanding across APAC. As Senior Commercial Director of AI Solutions in APAC, you will drive business growth in the region, report directly to the CEO and work closely with the product and delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive AI solutions business growth in APAC, identify opportunities and close deals
• Identify client pain points and explain how CoverGo AI agents solve them
• Shape the AI product roadmap by sharing market needs and solutions
• Act as a regional thought leader through media engagements, conferences and industry forums
• Build and lead an AI sales team and build a pipeline of high-quality AI opportunities
• Build relationships with target insurance company leaders and key partners (consulting firms, channel partners, system integrators, reinsurance companies)
• Manage sales processes using the standardized methodology and forecast business accurately
• Upsell and cross-sell AI solutions to existing clients and stay on top of market trends

Required profile

• Extensive network of insurance decision-makers in APAC
• Director or C-level leadership experience in insurance
• Insurance consulting experience is a big plus
• Track record of enterprise sales and revenue growth
• Based in Singapore, Hong Kong or Tokyo, willing to travel across APAC

Required skills

• Excellent English (Japanese or Cantonese a plus); remote-first international collaboration
• Hands-on knowledge of the insurance value chain and APAC insurance market
• Enterprise technology sales, SaaS, insurtech, insurance systems architecture and cloud technologies
