Senior Consultant - Capital Markets / CIB

About the role

Sia Partners, an independent management and operational strategy consulting firm with more than 850 consultants and an international presence, is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its CIB department in Singapore. You will provide strategic and operational regulatory advisory for clients, helping to build the office's expertise and ensure high-quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in projects with leading banks and financial institutions and contribute hands-on to their execution.
• Support the growth of the office through high-standard client delivery, content development and business development.
• Work with other offices and use the global network for cross-selling and knowledge sharing.
• Share consulting best practices with the team and take part in recruiting future consultants.
• Lead and manage multiple projects, including regulatory transformation (impact of regulation on investment banks and capital markets) and business improvement (process mapping, reengineering, performance management).

Required profile

• Background as a management consultant for banks, or change management or regulatory advisory for banking and finance clients.
• Proven experience in risk management or regulations in capital markets and investment banking (e.g. MiFID II, MAD/MAR, EMIR, BCBS 239).
• Ability to manage and convince senior business stakeholders and to drive business decisions and project delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business or Finance; 4-6 years' experience in management consulting and/or financial services preferred.
