Senior Consultant – Delay Analysis

About the role

Rimkus is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join its Singapore office. You will work closely with the Commission Lead, delivering forensic and dispute‑resolution services for construction and insurance clients, and providing expert advice on delay and disruption matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare expert reports and claim rebuttals with minimal supervision, ensuring clear and concise communication.
• Review, compile and analyse project records using scheduling or database software.
• Conduct delay analyses employing recognised methods such as Time Impact Analysis, Window Analysis and As‑Planned vs As‑Built comparisons.
• Act as Lead Assistant, overseeing technical and expert reports and shaping client strategy recommendations.
• Support weekly progress reporting for the Commission Lead and manage team utilisation.
• Contribute to delay consulting, programming and planning services across projects.
• Develop narratives explaining delay and disruption for formal dispute processes.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and client appointments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quantity surveying, law or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of post‑graduate experience with a construction contractor, engineering firm or specialist claims consultancy.
• Proven project planning and delivery experience.
• Experience in contentious disputes, preferably arbitration or other formal resolution processes.
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to convey complex information to non‑technical audiences.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability and high attention to detail.
